HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [GIFTWRAP]

HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [GIFTWRAP]
December 22rd, 2015

Good afternoon readers! With only three days until Christmas hopefully you're done shopping (or nearing completion!) So now comes my favorite part, wrapping! Take a look at some of our favorite wrapping ideas for the holiday season.

I love the use of these crisp coordinating papers + ribbons to create different, yet matching gifts.

I have seen such a strong trend of pinecone greenery + plain wrapping paper pairings lately. I personally love the natural look & jumped on the bandwagon, wrapping some of my gifts just like these!

If the natural wrapping approach isn't for you, take a look at these beautiful black + gold wrapping ideas!

How fun is this simple + yet adorable giftwrap idea? You could easily replace the holiday sayings on the front cards with the names of the people receiving the gifts to add a personal touch too!

I love these black + white stripped ribbons! Whether you have plain or graphic wrapping paper, this timeless ribbon will go with all.

How fun is this chalkboard wrapping paper? It's a great background to add any ribbon to + personalized messages you want to write!

Feathers, flowers, ribbon, piano sheet music.. the possibilities are endless!

I love the layering of different items to add visual interest to this subtle paper.

These gifts are too cute. The combination of the polka dots + lace + and plaid makes them almost too cute to open!

And for the little kiddo's in your life, how fun is this idea for the little gifts you may be giving!

From all of us here at Robert Sidenberg, have a very Merry Christmas + Happy New Year!

HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [HOLIDAY HOSTING]

HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [HOLIDAY HOSTING]
December 21th, 2015

Happy Monday + cheers to a short holiday week everyone! Have you hosted the big Christmas feast + party yet? If not, take a look at some festive ways to add holiday cheer to your gatherings this season.

How great are these simple + natural tablescape inspirations?

I love this classic + crisp tablescape, creating such a great backdrop to be paired with any holiday décor. By switching out a couple of the décor items you can have a completed different look to fit any celebration year round.

Don't over complicate things when hosting parties. Often times the easiest little details can add such an impact. I love this idea to of throwing some pinecones in your ice bucket! It's that kind of attention to details that will leave your guests thinking you've really thought of everything.

How creative + fun are these berry filled frozen ice bucket & votive holders? For those who are feeling extra crafty, try freezing greenery + berries in water between two containers to achieve these looks.

How adorable are these mini wreaths?

I love the colorful approach to the décor of these tables. Fun, fresh, yet still festive!

How great is this modern Christmas table decor? This is a great example showing you don't need to stick to the traditional red + green holiday décor to be festive!

Stay tuned to see one last holiday tips + tricks blog this week to help finish all of your wrapping needs (and neglects!)

HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [MERRY & BRIGHT]

HOLIDAY + INSPIRED [MERRY & BRIGHT]
December 18th, 2015

Good morning readers + happy Friday! With such nice weather (knock on wood) it's hard to believe Christmas is already just a week away. With the busy hustle & bustle of the season, i'm sure many of you are finishing up some last minute decorating before your homes become chaotic + full of joy with the ones you love most. If you're still in need of finishing up your holiday decorating take a peak at some of our favorite + inspiring interiors & exteriors filled with holiday cheer.

Sometimes simpler is better. I love how just adding winter greenery to a room can instantly add a holiday touch without having to spend countless hours putting up tons of decorations.

Hanging wreaths throughout your home in front of windows, mirrors, or doors is one of my favorite simple + easy seasonal touches.

Plaid pillows + garland filled staircases + Hunter boots... these are a few of my favorite things!

Don't forget about the exterior of your home! First impressions make a lasting impact, so don't neglect your front porch + entry this holiday season. And with such unheard of warm weather for mid December in Minnesota, we really can't complain about putting the outside decorations up this year!

Last, but certainly not least, the tree! From the sentimental items of your childhood to the sophisticated glitter filled ornaments, there are simply endless ways + approaches to decorating your tree. Here are two of my own trees I just finished decorating for the holiday season. In my mind, the more decorations, the better!

Do you decorate a little or a lot for the holidays?

LIFE + STYLE [WORK HARD, PLAY HARD]

LIFE + STYLE [WORK HARD, PLAY HARD]
December 16th, 2015

This the season for parties galore! But with such great company, impeccable food, & wonderful memories who can complain? We're been busy at work, but have managed to find a little time to add some great new pieces to our office & host a colorful + laughter filled happy hour here for some of our great clients & friends. How fun is this fur ottoman from Tapis Décor? We can't get enough of it!

And these fabulous Pierre Frey pillows? They've been the perfect addition to any home + our office.

Of course a party is never complete without a great little party favor. These candles from the Zachary showroom here at IMS are absolutely wonderful & did the trick!

And the parties continue! One of our wonderful clients + friend was gracious enough to host this color filled party last week. How great did she do on her colorful tablescape?! So gorgeous!

Tis the season for lots of gatherings with the ones you love + and an abundance of yummy delights!
